The world was created through the emanation of divine light. In order to create beings and places for them to live, the light had to be contained. Special bowls were prepared to catch and preserve this light. In the beginning, all went according to plan. The first bowls trapped and contained the light. The
world began to take form. But as the divine light poured into the last few vessels, the impact of the light proved to be too powerful. The bowls shattered. The shards and sparks of light were scattered throughout creation. Thus began the world as we know it. Imperfect. Damaged. Fragmented. Broken. To us belongs the tasks of collecting shattered shards and sparks. Gathering fragments. Repairing what has been broken. Creating wholeness and healing. Community.

So nu? I guess this is as good as any explanation. It's feeling very broken and unfixable these days. But maybe with a bit of community effort we can put things back in order. We'll see, but in the meantime I love the idea of community bringing forward a healing.
